Nội dung phim

Câu chuyện diễn ra hai năm sau cuộc chiến trong Gundam SEED, tập trung vào Shinn Asuka, một phi công của PLANT (ZAFT) với lòng hận thù sâu sắc đối với Liên Minh Trái Đất sau khi mất gia đình. Anh trở thành phi công cho Impulse Gundam và đóng vai trò trung tâm trong cuộc xung đột giữa ZAFT, Liên Minh Trái Đất, Orb, và những thế lực ngầm đang thao túng chiến tranh. Bên cạnh đó, các nhân vật quen thuộc như Kira Yamato, Athrun Zala và Lacus Clyne cũng trở lại, tạo nên cuộc chiến đầy mâu thuẫn giữa lý tưởng, quyền lực và lòng trung thành.
